The Columbian Bed & Breakfast is an 1897 Colonial Revival Mansion located in the Rivertown of Columbia, Lancaster County. Once known as "the mansion of Columbia", it is located in a town rich with early examples of 19th century architecture. Its wrap-around porches, magnificent staircase, window seats, pocket doors and original fireplaces reflect an era that is past. There are 4 guest rooms and 1 suite, all with private baths, TV's, AC, and some with fireplaces.
A full breakfast is served each morning in our dining room consisting of orange juice, fresh fruit, homemade granola and sweet breads, and pancake or egg main entree. Our guests have asked for our recipes so often that we have put together a cookbook available for $7.00.
Located at 360 Chestnut St, a short walk to the east takes you past many fine homes built by the merchants of Columbia prior to 1900. A walk to the west, will take you to the beautiful Susquehanna River.
